There are eight pages of Renée's diary to be found throughout the game. The subject matter really makes you think and comes highly recommended by this gamer. The Town Of Light is another short walking simulator that will only take a few hours to finish, but the story is really gripping. If you played the story through without stopping, reload chapter 5 and choose different options to get the alternative chapter 6 and do the same in chapter 11, getting the other three chapters and " And what was she called?" You can use the chapter select to get any achievements you may have missed. You can actually finish after you get " The End," but the credits are only a couple of minutes later, and you will definitely want to see how it ends. Pick up any collectables you can on the way (there are only eight) and play until the conclusion. I would personally recommend the second way, so you can really get sucked into the story. It is up to you whether you want to get to one scene and then reload the chapter or just play through and reload the other scenes at the end. There are two story arcs that the game can take, but you can replay any chapter at any time. The fact that you know that all this actually happened to real people lets you really invest in the story and care about the protagonist. The atmospheric setting and music makes the game really creepy and there are some really quite disturbing moments in the game. Without giving too much away, it sees a former patient visit a derelict Italian mental asylum, and the game is based on real facts and experiences from the 1930's and 40's. There are a few collectables to pick up, and the game can sometimes be a bit tricky to know what you are looking for, but the setting and the story are what makes this game stand out. The Town Of Light is essentially a walking simulator, so you pretty much know what to expect with this game.
